This page is maintained by the Areas team to answer common security and privacy questions about the app. It describes current practices and enabled platform controls — it is editable project content, not an independent certification or audit.
Accounts are protected by email + password sign-in, with optional Google sign-in when configured. Sessions are managed by our authentication provider and stored in your browser; signing out ends the session on this device.
Each user can only access their own entries. Authorization is enforced server-side on every request using row-level security in the database, not by the browser.
Areas is built on Lovable Cloud, which provides managed hosting, database, authentication, and serverless functions. Data is stored in a managed Postgres database with row-level security enabled. This is a description of platform capabilities we use, not a Lovable-issued certification.
We store the account information you provide (email) and the journal-style content you create inside the app (entries across areas like home, planning, self care, medical, finances, etc.). We don't sell your data and we don't use your entries to train third-party models.
We use first-party cookies and local storage required to keep you signed in and to remember preferences. We don't run third-party advertising trackers on this app.
Your entries remain available in your account until you delete them. If you'd like your account and associated data removed, contact us using the address below and we'll process the request.
For privacy questions, data access, or deletion requests, reach out to the app owner via the contact channel shown elsewhere in the app. We'll respond as quickly as we reasonably can.
If you believe you've found a security issue, please report it privately to the app owner rather than disclosing it publicly, so we can investigate and fix it.
Lovable Cloud is responsible for platform infrastructure, database, and authentication services. The Areas team is responsible for application logic, access policies, and the content of this page. You are responsible for keeping your password safe and signing out on shared devices.
